Providenciales is 12 miles northeast of North Caicos. It’s easy to get to North Caicos with daily connecting flights, ferry and boat charters. Car and bicycle rentals, as well as taxis and guided tours, are available for adventurous travelers. It takes about 30 minutes to travel between Heaving Down Rock Marina on Providenciales and Sandy Point Marina on North Caicos. On its own, it’s a fun ferry trip. There is an aerial view of the Caicos Cays. The ferry services cost $25 per person, one way, and $50 return. Arrive at the dock at least 30 minutes prior to departure toavoid reservations.
